100 - $100 Campaign

We are launching a 100-$100 campaign where we will be advertising across New England asking for one hundred $100 donations. If our goal is met we will have raised $10,000 which will be split up among four charities:

35% to the Goodwill Fund
30% to Local Charities
20% to State Charities
15% to National Charities

We believe this form of grassroots fundraising will inspire a movement for many people in our community to come together and donate what they have to make a positive difference.  It is our sincere hope that this program can pool everyone’s contributions and efforts to work for real improvements in our towns, our state and our nation.

When:  The Campaign will being January 1st 2010 and go until December 1st 2010. There will be a banquet in December to total the money raised and commend everyone on their fundraising efforts.

Where:

Everywhere

What:

The goal is to accumulate as many $100 donations as possible getting the donor’s name and contact information so they can be invited to our 100-$100 banquet.

Why: Everybody has something to offer and that is the driving message behind our campaign; people coming together under a united goal to improve the lives of the less fortunate.

How:
Here is the most important question! There are a variety of ways you can help with this campaign.

1.)    Donate $100. If you feel you would like to donate more than $100 then you could put $100 in your name, $100 in your husband/wife’s name and/or $100 in one of your children’s name. There is no limit to how many $100 donations we accept from one family or group. Families who are donating more than 1 hundred dollar donation just write the total on one check and say the names the money is on behalf of.   For businesses who want to donate more than $100 you could put it in the name of several employees. If you do not have $100 dollars to donate and we understand that is a considerable amount of money, you could pool together with a group of friends, for example gathering 5 people to give $20 a piece. These efforts are more than encouraged.  Another example would be to ask for $5 or $10 from everyone at work for the cause until you reach $100.

2.)    Spread the Word. Tell your friends, your family, co-workers about the club and see if they are interested in joining. The more people that know about our efforts the easier it will be to accomplish our goals. This campaign is not solely focused on raising money but getting the community involved in important and worth-while causes.

3.)    Offer some input into what charities you feel we should support this year and we will contact the organization and advice them to fill out an application to receive aid from us.

4.)    Apply Online to our Good Will Fund to participate in a once in a lifetime opportunity of relief or humane efforts either at home or in another state or country. If you have a place you would like to go and help a particular cause please submit that with your application.
